Top 10 African Nations with the best Musicians 2024
In this video we shall look at the top 10 African Nations with the best Musicians this year 2024.
Number 10. DRC
Number 3. South Africa
From jazz to pop and everything in between, South African musicians have a lot to offer music fans all over the globe. These artists have entertained audiences around the world and left an indelible mark on the history of music. The musicians you should look forward to be blown away by them are Young Stunna, Cassper Nyovest, Bonang Matheba, black coffee and AKA.
Number 2. Ghana
Ghanaians love their music. The Ghanaian music industry has been growing over the years, with budding musicians coming with new skills as veterans lead the way. The west African country enjoys a diverse taste musically, as the top genres played are reggae, highlife, hiplife, Afro-pop, Azonto, Kpanlogo, Afrobeat, Raglife and dancehall.
Ghanaian musicians show their versatility by trying different genres and collaborating with artists outside Ghana. Many Ghanaian artists are recognized worldwide and have even been nominated for International music awards like the BET Awards and Grammy Awards. These musicians include; Shatta Wale, Stone Bwoy, Sarkodie, Samini and MzVee.
Number 1. Nigeria
The Nigerian Music Industry is undeniably the leading industry all over the world with musicians like Davido, KiZz Daniel, WIZKID, Burna boy, ASAKE, Yemi Alade, Falz, Simi, Rema. I mean it’s an unending role of excellent musicians producing international hits back to back in the form of Afropop, reggae, makossa, soul, R&B, just name any genre. Nigeria unarguably has the best Musicians ever!
